The government wants Torchwood to hire replacements, but Jack isn't ready to replace Owen and Toshiko. Mycroft is a "minor goverment official".

1. My Yuletide story itself: But There Is This by wintercreek. Young Wizards, main characters Tom and Carl, a quiet story in which the grown-ups remember their youthful escapades while wondering how to settle down Dairine. (Heavy on the memories and light on the settling.)

2. From Yuletide Madness: Hippity Hoppity by mtgat. Alien Nation, drabble, "The bunny comes to bring chocolate to good children." And in the tradition of the best Alien Nation stories, the Tenctonese give it their own interpretation/translation. :-)
