Weekend

Other than the fact that I hurt all over, it's been a good weekend.

Yesterday, Goofy took the three of us into the city so I could meet quean_of_swords. The plan had been that we would go to the American Museum of Natural History. I'm not sure if it was because it was Easter weekend, Earth Day weekend or raining, but the line to get in was around the block. So, we decided to get something to eat and come up with something else to do. We wound up at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which was pretty cool. Then we had dinner (in a tiny little booth) and we had to say goodbye.

The activities, of course, although enjoyable weren't why we were there. quean_of_swords was every bit as sweet as she seems on line; I'm delighted to have finally met her. (The pom-poms were Goofy's idea.)






The other good thing about the weekend is that an artist has chosen my story for the crossbigbang.

So, other than being sore because I was walking around the city, which is much more exercise than I'm used to, it was a great weekend.
